Child Seats

Every year children are killed or seriously injured because they are not properly strapped in, or their seats are inadequately fixed.

  • A child needs 3 different seats from baby to toddler.
  • You should regularly check for size
  • Ensure seats are correctly fixed
  • Children are properly secured in those seats.
  • Before placing the child in the seat, check properly secured by the straps. Securely but comfortably.
  • Check every few weeks seat still the right type/size.

NEVER PLACE A BABY IN A REAR FACING BABY SEAT IF YOUR CAR HAS A PASSENGER AIRBAG. IF YOU ARE UNSURE CHECK WITH YOUR CAR’S HANDBOOK.

  1. Buy the right seat for the child’s size and weight.
  2. Fit exactly as instructions.
  3. Check every time you use it.
  4. Change as child grows.
  5. Check for front passenger airbag.

CHECK THE SEAT IS SAFE AND THE CHILD SAFE IN THE SEAT
