Position

Your road positioning is always very important and you should never change your path without using your mirrors and clearly signalling. This is very important where there are no barriers to prevent straying drivers for example in multi-lane 1 way systems or on multi-lane roundabouts where it is critical to be aware of the proximity of nearby traffic and not to change lanes without others being aware of your intentions by clear signalling.   

Each path through the roundabout is clearly marked and when to switch indicators is also shown. Lane discipline is very important to avoid accidents, always signal clearly and never change lanes without warning.

• Keep to your lane
• Always look and signal before changing lanes.
• Never swap lanes on roundabouts
• Always clearly signal where you intend to leave a roundabout.
